Lateral Hop

This is an excellent exercise for the major muscles of your legs. It also boosts your cardiovascular system.
Lateral Hop
  1. Stand with your feet together and your hands at your sides.
  2. Squat down, keeping your feet flat and your weight on your heels.
  3. Keep your back straight and your chest out.
  4. At the bottom of the movement, extend one leg to the side and push off with the other, so that you "hop" laterally.
  5. Land on one foot.
  6. Hop in the other direction.
  7. Repeat.
