Superman

This exercise is hard to do, but it provides a superb workout for your abs and lower back. To ease into it, begin with something less than a fully outstretched position. As you reach the outstretched position, you’ll look like Superman flying.

  1. Lie face down with your legs straight and with your arms extended straight in front of you.
  2. Raise your upper torso and lower legs off the floor.
  3. Hold this position briefly.
  4. Return to your original position.
  5. Repeat.
