Pull-up

This exercise works your biceps and also strengthens your lats, the broad muscles in your middle back.

Pull-up
  1. Stand beneath a high bar.
  2. Grasp the bar and bend your knees up behind you at a 90-degree angle, crossing your ankles.
  3. Pull your body up toward the bar.
  4. Squeeze your shoulder blades together.
  5. Pause when your chin clears the top of the bar.
  6. Slowly lower your body to the start position.
