Until I started working with a personal trainer, I never used a heart rate monitor. But once I strapped it on, I was hooked. I can truly say that I don’t work out without it! Here’s why you’ll love it, too.
1. It inspires weight loss success. By tracking your heart rate and factoring in your age and weight, a heart rate monitor gives you an accurate measurement of the number of calories you burn. For those of you interested in dropping a few pounds, this is crucial information. Take into account the number of calories you eat daily, and you can figure out how many calories you need to burn each workout to hit your goal weight.
